About Lyn Fleet

Currently, I have three dogs; a Parson Russell terrier, a German shepherd and a Rotti x German shepherd.

I set up my private practice in 2000. To me, my job is the most interesting and satisfying in the world; I can think of nothing else I would rather do. Despite what people may think, my job is more to do with people; the animals are the easy bit!

On occasions, I participate in BBC Radio phone-in programmes regarding pet behavioural issues.

The books came about because there was, and still is, so much rubbish fed to owners about ‘dominance’ and ‘being pack leader’. I believe that owners deserve up to date information about dogs; how they learn and how they view life living with humans. Dogs deserve to be understood and not constantly labelled as ‘dominant’; secretly planning a hostile takeover of their home!
